There’s something incredibly special about our London Academy teacher trainings. The energy in the room, the shared nerves and excitement of new beginnings, the music and bonus workouts and the quiet confidence that begins to build in each trainee as the days unfold.
With popular demand, we’re so excited to be returning to the Mayfair Studio on 23–25 April 2026 for our next 100-Hour Foundations Teacher Training!
Whether you’re a Barre Series client, a movement professional ready to expand your skillset, or someone who feels the pull towards teaching but isn’t quite sure where to start, this training is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Like many of our trainees, Katherine joined the Academy as a passionate client who loved the experience of Barre Series.
“When I saw that the Academy was being offered, I jumped at the opportunity. I was eager to learn the technique in a deeper way, understand how to structure lessons set to music, and give this gift of an experience to others by becoming an instructor myself.”
Across the three days, trainees dive deeply into the Barre Series method — our unique blend of contemporary barre, Pilates foundations, functional movement, and mindful sequencing.
But it’s not just about learning choreography. It’s about understanding why we move the way we do, how to teach safely and inclusively, and how to lead a room with clarity and confidence.
Our training is founder led, REPs-certified and grounded in intelligent, evidence-informed movement education. You’ll explore:
“Having the opportunity for in-person training and access to Catie’s depth of knowledge was truly invaluable. She is incredibly generous in sharing her experience, practical advice and even her carefully curated playlists.”
“Catie’s teaching was both inspiring and supportive, and her encouragement helped me grow in confidence throughout the training.”
There’s something powerful about being in the room — asking questions in a safe space, practising out loud, making mistakes safely, and being supported every step of the way.

One of the most transformative parts of the Academy isn’t just the technical knowledge, it’s the personal growth. Katherine described waking up on the third morning of training feeling deeply inspired:
“We were building each other up and encouraging each other that we could do this, at a time when lots of doubt can come into play because it is overwhelming alongside the excitement.”
That sense of community is woven into everything we do. Teaching barre requires vulnerability, leadership and presence. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll feel yourself stepping into that role…not perfectly, but authentically.
And once you do, something shifts.
“It has cracked me open in completely new ways… once I take the pressure off and get into the beat, it allows me to have some fun and encourage those I am teaching to join me in that.”
You don’t need a dance background. You don’t need to feel “ready.” If you feel drawn to it, that’s often enough. As Katherine beautifully put it:
“If you are passionate about something and you feel drawn to it, go for it… For someone considering joining, that means you already have a sign — so trust your heart and head to the barre!”

If you’ve been waiting for the right time, this might just be it! We can’t wait to welcome the next cohort into the Barre Series teaching community
