At Barre Series, we know that every class has a unique purpose. Pilates strengthens from the inside out. Barre challenges endurance, stability, and control. Individually, they’re powerful. Together, they create something even more effective.
That’s why we’re introducing The Duo Method: Power & Precision. This paired movement experience is designed to help you get more out of your practice.

Think of Pilates as the foundation and Barre as the expression.
Pilates helps you slow down, connect to your breath, activate your deep core muscles, and create alignment throughout the body.
Barre then takes that connection and layers on challenge — building muscular endurance, balance, and precision through intentional, dynamic movement.
Together, they create a balanced approach to movement that leaves you feeling both strong and supported.
When combined, the two methods help you move more efficiently, challenge your body safely, and build sustainable strength over time.
The beauty of this pairing is that there’s no right or wrong way to approach it. Think of these classes as two complementary pieces that can support different moments throughout your day and week.

Pair Them Together
When you have a little extra time and want a complete movement experience, enjoy the classes back-to-back. Start with Pilates to build connection, alignment, and control, then transition into Barre to challenge your strength, endurance, and precision.
Perfect for:
Split Them Across Your Day
Not every movement session needs to happen all at once. Try Pilates in the morning to gently wake up the body and improve posture, then return to Barre later in the day when you’re ready for a little more challenge.
Perfect for:
Alternate Them Throughout The Week
Use Pilates and Barre on separate days to create variety while still benefiting from how they complement one another. This is a wonderful way to build consistency without overthinking your schedule. For example:
Use One As Your Anchor
Some weeks will feel fuller than others, and that’s okay. Rather than feeling pressure to complete both classes, simply choose the one your body needs most.
The other class will always be there when you’re ready.
One of the biggest barriers to staying consistent is decision fatigue. What class should I do? How long should I move for? What works best together?
The Duo Method takes that thinking away. We’ve intentionally paired these classes to support one another, so all you need to do is press play. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do isn’t adding more movement into your routine, it’s moving with greater intention.
Explore The Duo Method: Power & Precision and discover how Pilates and Barre can work together to help you build strength, precision, and confidence, one class at a time.
